Itinerary: 4 Days/3 Nights

Day 1: Pickup and transfer to Tabakoshi

Tabokoshi is situated at the bank of meandering river Rambhang and at the foothills where Sagmaru Tea Garden and Gopaldhara Tea Garden meet. The village falls under the Lower division of Pokhriabong-Rangbhang valle. The place is relatively unknown and is now gaining popularity as an offbeat destination. It’s a new offbeat tourism destination near Mirik.

Check in to our homestay before lunch. After lunch take walk to Tabakoshi park and Rangbhang river.

Day 2: In and around Tabakoshi

Visit Vishnu temple, Lord Shiva temple, Mirik lake, Gopaldhara tea estate & Mirik Lake.

Day 3: Transfer to Bungkulung

Bunkulung is a picture perfect village parked at a distance of 15 km from Mirik, via Soureni bazaar. The village is surrounded by the hills on all sides. Small streams flow through village. Bunkulung is criss-crossed by two rivers – the Balasun and the small Murmah Khola.

You may also take a walk around the village and discover eco-tourism of Bungkulung. Visit the tea factory to learn about tea processing. Bungkulung is a lace for Bird Watchers and Bird Photographers with scope to encounter a huge number of Himalayan species. One may even choose to go for a short hike to Balason River nearby.

Day 4: Drop to Destination

Enjoy the silence of nature. Spend few hours to watch birds in the woods and river bed.
