The Andaman and Nicobar Islands, located in the east of the Indian mainland geographically, float in splendid isolation in the Bay of Bengal. Once a hill range extending from Myanmar to Indonesia, these picturesque undulating islands, islets numbering around 572, are covered with dense rain-fed, damp and evergreen forests and endless varieties of exotic flora and fauna. Most of these islands (about 550) are in the Andaman Group, 28 of which are inhabited. The smaller Nicobars, comprise some 22 main islands (10 inhabited). The Andaman and Nicobars are separated by the Ten Degree Channel which is 150 Kms. wide.

Port Blair-Havelock Itinerary: 6 Days/5 Nights

Day 01: Reach Port Blair
Pickup from the Port Blair Airport in the morning by flight and transfer to the hotel.
After lunch, visit Corbyn’s Cove Beach (9 km)– a coconut palm fringed beach, ideal for swimming, sun-basking & bathing.
Go for Port Blair (City Tour)– covering the famous Cellular Jail, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries (Marine) Museum, Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika), Andaman Water Sports Complex (for water & adventure sports like water-skiing, boats, water scooters, tube rides, etc.) and the Cottage Industries Emporium (Sagarika)– for shopping & souvenirs.
In the evening, attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail– where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive.
Overnight stay in Port Blair.

Day 02: North Bay-Ross-Viper Island
After breakfast our company’s vehicle will be there in the Hotel to pick you up for Andaman Water Sports Complex.
Ferry starts here for North Bay- to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fishes and other marine life.
Optional Activities – Snorkelling, Glass bottom boat ride, Swimming, Trekking.
From North bay start for Ross Island – from where the Britisher’s governed the entire A&N islands, prior to India’s Independence. This island is an ideal destination for nature walks amidst sylvan surroundings with deers, peacocks, exotic birds, etc.
Then proceed for a leisurely cruise (Harbour Cruise) in a steamer along the Port Blair Harbour– which takes one to Viper Island. The gallows atop a hillock here are sight to watch.

Day 03: Port Blair to Havelock
After breakfast at Hotel at Port Blair Or Packed Breakfast get ready  on  07:00-Early morning for Phoenix bay Harbour to take a private catamaran M V Markruze / GovtFerry which takes one and half hour journey for Havelock island. In Havelock Island our Company’s representatives will be there to meet you at the Harbour.
After lunch drive to the Radhanagar beach- Asia’s Best Beach and rated amongst world’s top ten beaches. Radhanagar Beach (Beach #7) is the most beautiful on the island and was rated as the best in Asia by Time in 2004.
Gorgeous, silky white sand backed by a forest that provides welcome shade looks out over turquoise water, some stretches with a sandy bottom good for swimming and some with excellent coral reefs that are great for snorkeling – a great combination indeed.
Sunsets here are often spectacular and it’s a popular time to be at the beach.
By evening return to the beach resort.

Day 04: Havelock to Port Blair
After breakfast Checkout from the Resort and proceed for Kalapather beach-it is also one of the well-known beach at Havelock & is considered to be one of the spectacular beaches, White sand of the beach, greenish and blue Sea as the back ground looks really inviting for a tourist and the scene is unique for a tourist as all sea does not look like this coloured.
After spending some memorable hours in this pristine beach,  proceed to Havelock harbour to take the ferry for Port Blair. Reaches Port Blair by evening.

Day 05: Visit Red Skin/Jolly Buoy
After breakfast set out for Jolly Buoy island- famous for underwater corals and the pristine clear beach. This place is one hour journey from Wandoor beach. Snorkeling and scuba diving are available here.
To reach Jolly buoy island we will pick you up for Wandoor beach. This is located in Mahatma Gandhi National Park. Wandoor beach is 30 Kms from Port Blair by road.
Overnight in Port Blair.

Day 06: Depart Port Blair
Post breakfast transfer to the airport to board the flight to your destination.

There are about 96 Wildlife Sanctuaries, nine National Parks and one Biosphere Reserve in the islands. These islands are blessed with the bounties of both southwest and northeast monsoons.
