The Andaman and Nicobar Islands, located in the east of the Indian mainland geographically, float in splendid isolation in the Bay of Bengal. Once a hill range extending from Myanmar to Indonesia, these picturesque undulating islands, islets numbering around 572, are covered with dense rain-fed, damp and evergreen forests and endless varieties of exotic flora and fauna. Most of these islands (about 550) are in the Andaman Group, 28 of which are inhabited. The smaller Nicobars, comprise some 22 main islands (10 inhabited). The Andaman and Nicobars are separated by the Ten Degree Channel which is 150 Kms. wide.

Port Blair-Havelock-Neil Itinerary: 7 Days/6 Nights

Day 01: Arrival at Port Blair
Upon arrival at Port Blair Airport drive to your hotel and check in.
First half of the day is at leisure. Later visit Cellular Jail and at 6.00pm view the Light & Sound show. Overnight stay in Port Blair.

Day 02: Day trip to North Bay & Ross Island
Start after breakfast for a full-day excursion to North Bay (Coral Island)- to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fishes and other marine life. Optional Activities- Snorkelling, Swimming, Trekking . visit Ross Island- from where the British governed the entire A&N islands, prior to India’s Independence. These islands are an ideal destination for nature walks amidst sylvan surroundings with deer’s, peacocks, exotic birds, etc.
Overnight stay at Port Blair.

Day 03: Port Blair to Havelock Island
Early morning with packed breakfast at 6.00 am, proceed to Port Blair Harbour to board cruise connecting to Havelock Island. Havelock Island with beautiful sandy beaches fringed by green canopy of rainforest,
On arrival at Havelock Jetty, Transfer to Hotel, later proceed to world famous Radhanagar Beach.
Overnight stay in Havelock.

Day 04: Havelock to Elephant Beach
After breakfast, proceed to Elephants Beach, enroute if interested go for snorkelling. Elephant beach offers beautiful white sand beach along with an amazing coral reef which starts at a depth of less than a metre. This beach is a great place for lying on the beach and relax. The large reef is mostly made of hard coral with plenty of marine life. After spending some time on this pristine beach proceed to Havelock harbour to take a ferry for Port Blair and reach Port Blair by evening. Transferred to the Hotel/Resort in Port Blair.
Overnight in Port Blair.

Day 05: Neil Island Tour
After breakfast departure by inter-island ferry to Neil Island. Post lunch proceed to Neil Island tour that is much less commercialized. Visit to Sitapur Beach, Bharatpur beach, Laxmanpur beach, Natural Bridge.
Overnight stay at Neil Island.

Day 06: Neil Island to Port Blair
After breakfast check out from the resort & proceed to Port Blair by Morning ferry and Check in at Port Blair hote/resortl. In the evening, visit Cottage industry emporium Sagarika to buy souvenirs of Andaman.
Overnight stay at Port Blair.

Day 07: Depart Port Blair
Drop to airport to depart Port Blair.

There are about 96 Wildlife Sanctuaries, nine National Parks and one Biosphere Reserve in the islands. These islands are blessed with the bounties of both southwest and northeast monsoons.
